Pet Owners Advice:
Anesthetic:
Today we put your animal to sleep in connection with the treatment.
The animal can therefore during the rest of the dough:
+ Take it easy! The animal's balance can be affected by the anesthesia and it should therefore not
exercise or move on uneven surfaces.
+ Be able to rest in a quiet, dark and not too cool place.
+ Have access to water.
+ Wait with food for the animal is completely alert or at least 2 hours.
+ Have the opportunity to urinate a little more often. Some sedatives are diuretic and the animal can
therefore urinate more than normal after treatment.
Breathing tube :
+ If your animal has had a breathing tube in connection with the anesthesia, it is common for them to get a little
cough in the next few days after anesthesia.
Contact me immediately if:
+ The animal 2 hours after the treatment still feels very tired and difficult to get in touch
with.
